Importing from China

Aliexpress, DHgate, Sammy Dress and all other Chinese marketplaces are full of wonderfull deals. But are they still as cheap as they were once along the customs?

On this page we will touch on the most important aspects regarding the import of your Chinese purchase.

The cost!

The key question for most consumers who make a purchase at a Chinese marketplace as Tiny Deal or AliExpress left with the same question: Do I have to pay customs fees on my purchase?

First it is important to realize that on all the packages that are sent from outside your country, certain charges may be imposed. Consider: Customs clearance fees, taxes and in some cases have to pay customs duties. That also applies to your purchases at Sammy Dress, AliExpress ed.

Free import from China

But there is good news: Packages that you receive with a value of less than a certain amoun (22 euro for Europe) you can simply import freely, without additional charges. And many Chinese vendors are also smart enough to package in a lower value than that there really is inside... If you have yet to charge slightly, the postman will then offer your package with a corresponding invoice.

In short, before you make your purchase at Tiny Deal, Chinavasion, AliExpress or one of many other places the Chinese Market places, it is good to advance to take into account any additional costs that the import entails.

Many packets are really so even without problem through Customs, so maybe you are lucky!
